Tuvalu PM first to visit PIDF office

The Prime Minister of Tuvalu, Enele Sopoaga is the first regional leader to visit the Fiji since the conclusion of the general elections.

The Tuvalu PM took the opportunity to personally congratulate the country’s new government.

“We want to extend again a warm congratulation from the people and the government of Tuvalu, to you your Excellency Bainimarama, your leaders, for very successful general elections and thank you also for the support, and we always enjoyed from the government and the people of Fiji, for Tuvaluans in many aspects of development.”

Sopoaga was here to participate in the inaugural International Conference on Oceans and Rivers at the Fiji National University in Nadi.
