The Tui Vaturova Vilimone Vodonaivalu was laid to rest today at the chiefly village of Korotasere.

Vodonaivalu passed away at the age of 68 in Suva on the 17th of this month.

He had been ill for about 4 months.

The Tui Vaturova was a former civil servant, serving in the Ministry of Agriculture for 30 years before retiring.

He served in various capacities in Nausori, Suva, Labasa, Taveuni and Bua.

Vodonaivalu is survived by his 66-year-old wife Koleta, four children and 10 grandchildren.
