A heavy rain warning is now in force for Yasawa, Mamanuca and Lomaiviti group, eastern half and interior of Viti Levu.

A heavy rain alert remains in force for northern Lau group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.

This as a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the Fiji group.
It is expected to affect the country till the weekend.

For the rest of Fiji group: occasional rain. Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls. Rain becoming frequent from later tomorrow.

Localized heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
