Trough of low pressure located North of Fiji

A trough of low pressure has been located to the North of Fiji.

Fiji Met Office Senior Forecaster Amit Singh says it is expected to drift to the South of the group tomorrow afternoon.

Singh says this will bring rain which could become heavy at times.

Meanwhile, tropical cyclone Mona is weakening and moving away from the group.

TC Mona was located at about 65km Southeast of Ono-I-Lau or about 240km South-Southeast of Kabara at 4am today.

A flood warning remains in force for low lying areas and small streams adjacent to and downstream of Naqali station at the Rewa River catchment.
