May 16, 2012 7:11 pm

The local facilitator of the electronic ticketing program says there is further delay to the program due to a few glitches.

TransTel chief executive – Radrodro Tabualevu says the technology is ready; however they’re still working on verifying more data.

Tabualevu says they have notified the Australian Company that’s helping with the electronic equipment and are confident it will start next week.

“I think that point is important – we are grappling with a lot of data that is coming from the ministry of the education and in our haste to meet the deadline we have missed some little details but we have alerted our supplies in Australia – we have worked in that software variation and its now being worked on and its being delivered to us.”

Tabualevu says they have already distributed e-cards to 500 students in 11 schools around Suva.
