Training on FSC co-generation project

*Training will be provided to the Rarawai Mill workers in Ba by overseas experts on how to operate the $140 million co-generation project.

The executive chair of the Fiji Sugar Corporation Abdul Khan says the experts who will be installing the project will at the same time train locals.

Work on the co-generation project will begin in March next year.

Khan says experts from India, China, Australia and New Zealand will be part of the project that will generate electricity throughout the year once complete.
He says FSC has already negotiated and signed a deal with the Fiji Electricity Authority to sell power once the project is commissioned.
