Training for FCCC staff

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission is working with its Australian counterpart to improve the capacity of its staff.

In light of this, a one day workshop was conducted in Suva for thirty-nine staff yesterday.

The training was headed by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Director – International Unit, Woodrow Inman.

Inman says it’s important the FCCC staff receive the appropriate training on competition functions to help improve service in the market.

FCCC, Chief executive, Joel Abraham says the Commission is working towards ensuring they are aligned with the best international practices.
