Traffic flow at Suva’s Renwick Road is now one way.

Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive Jonathan Moore says the change in direction is part of the overall plan to streamline flow through Suva City.

Moore says initially drivers will complain, but later they’ll be able to familiarize with the route which will definitely ease traffic flow.

”Renwick Road will be the same. There will be initial dislike and concerns and people will be upset but it all gets familiar, people will get used to it and it will be a lot better. We believe this will be more beneficial in the long term around Suva City Center.”

Moore says FRA has carried out a survey and is doing the best to improve parking on the streets of Suva and other towns and cities in the country.
