Trade Minister Faiyaz Koya says the framework sets the long term vision for Fiji’s priority sectors.

“It sets a detailed agenda focused on expanding trading opportunities, promoting industrial growth, attracting domestic and foreign investment, increasing exports of goods and services, emphasizing the importance of value addition and addressing supply side constraints.”

The framework also recognizes the vital role the private sector plays in driving growth and development.

This shows a path for closer cooperation and collaboration with the government.

The framework will be launched by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama in Suva this Friday.
