Over one thousand tourists arrived on a cruise ship at the Suva Port this morning and explored the Capital city.

The ship is transiting through the country and this gave an opportunity for many tourists to meet the locals, buy various handicrafts, and go on bus rides
and walks.

Ray Cook from Australia says it’s good to see that Fiji is becoming a modern country with all its infrastructural developments.

“Just going for a walk, stretching the legs and just doing a little bit of shopping and maybe have a beer with lunch here but by all accounts it’s becoming a modern city and a good place for anyone going on holiday.”
