Tourism Fiji has appointed Zhao Qin as Fiji’s Trade Partnership Manager for Greater China, based in Shanghai.
This appointment will further strengthen Tourism Fiji’s team in China, led by Regional Manager Greater China, Vincent Zheng.
Born in Shanghai, Zhao Qin (pronounced Sean Zhao) has extensive experience in travel trade and experience from leading international tourism representation offices, theme parks and hotel groups.
His ability to plan and execute sales & marketing plans and events will be crucial for success in the new role.
Tourism Fiji Chief Executive, Matthew Stoeckel says Sean has an extensive knowledge of what the role requires having worked in senior roles with other tourism destinations in the USA, such as Philadelphia CVB, Texas Tourism and Choose Chicago.
His appointment has been welcomed by Tourism Fiji as he has many potential to boost more Fiji arrivals out of China.
