Police confirms that the investigation file in relation to the report of assault lodged by Opposition MP Pio Tikoduadua is now with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Acting Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu says the file was handed over on Friday for independent legal advice.

Tudravu says they will make further comments once a decision is made by the DPP’s office.
