Three traders in the Northern Division will be charged today with abusing the Homes and Farm CARE initiatives.

Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission, Chief Executive Joel Abraham says they want to visit all traders and see if they’re being honest.

“We will look at all traders that are signed under the Homes care and Farm care initiative and be able to go and look at their practices and pricing policies and their supply."

Abraham says that these traders have signed a contract with the Ministry of Economy that they must have supplies available.

He adds that some traders have told customers that they can swipe their card now and their supplies will be delivered six weeks later.

Meanwhile, four traders have been charged and will be produced in court soon.
