The Court heard Qiolele attempted to obstruct the course of justice by offering the female police officer a sum of $5000 to withdraw the indecent assault charge while Singh attempted to obstruct the course of justice by having the female officer sign a withdrawal statement.

The offence occurred in February 2014 in Nausori.

Resident Magistrate Vandhana Lal found the three police officers guilty of each charge and convicted them accordingly.

The matter has been adjourned June 13th for mitigation and sentencing submissions.
