Three people have been charged for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case at the Dignified Crematorium in Davuilevu last week.

The three are a man aged 25, a 17 year old youth and a woman in her 30s.

The woman has been charged with receiving stolen property and giving false information to a public servant while the other two have been charged with aggravated robbery, serious assault, damaging property and theft.

The incident occurred on the Wednesday last week, the 24th of January whereby it is alleged three suspects assaulted a 56-year-old security officer and stole cash and assorted items worth more than $6 000.

All three are expected to appear at the Nasinu Magistrates Court later today.
