Three men charged with fish theft

Three of the four men allegedly involved in the theft of fish from Solander Fishing Company in Walu Bay, Suva have been charged by police.

The three – two security personnel at the company yard and one employee have each been charged with a count of theft.

They are expected to appear in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.

The fourth suspect – who was alleged to have received the stolen fish, has been released by police.

The men are allegedly to have conspired to steal the fish from the container freezers at the company yard on Wednesday July 1st.
