Three cocaine discoveries in just a month

The Police Force has made three similar discoveries just this month where identical parcels believed to be cocaine have been discovered washed ashore.

Earlier this month a total of 31 bars of cocaine weighing forty kilograms were retrieved from an island in the Lau group.

Today Police has again revealed that nine parcels were found in Lau and investigation is currently underway.

Meanwhile, earlier this week a similar discovery was made in Taveuni and Police Officers were deployed where seven parcels containing substances believed to be cocaine were found.

Police are urging the public to report any discovery by calling their nearest Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 919.
