The Vuma Box, Naisogo and Levuka Market Bridges on Ovalau Circular road are now completed and open to public.

Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive, Jonathan Moore says the new concrete bridge structure will improve access and bring great relief to the community, especially to children and farmers.

Moore says the Vuma and Naisogo Bridges have been transformed from a single-lane bridge to a standard structure with increased structural capacity.

He says the Levuka Market Bridge is considered to be a heritage site and it was constructed to replicate the old bridge.

The three bridges will benefit close to 9,000 people.
