Thousands of Fijians turned up at the FijiFirst Party family fun day at Syria Park in Nausori this morning which is still underway.

The park was a sea of blue as Fijians from around the country came in numbers to show their support for the party.

People both young and old had an opportunity to meet the party’s 51 provisional candidates including FijiFirst party leader and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

The proposed candidates also had a chance to speak publicly, highlighting the reasons to why they decided to be part of the party.

Most proposed candidates said the party has provided a lot for Fijians in the past few years than any other government, hence it’s only right for them to be part of it.
