Thirty West schools selected for SEEP program

More than 150 Year 11 students from the West will go through a two week work-exposure program with potential employees.

The work-exposure program will be during the school holidays this year.

Thirty schools from Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki have been noted for the program, which was piloted in Suva for Central Division students last year.

The Students Employment Exposure Program was launched by Minister for Employment, Parveen Kumar in Lautoka.

The program, aims to ease the transition of students from school into the workforce, based on their subject combinations, skills set, potential and line of interests.

Kumar says the Ministry will continue to support every development effort made to transform Fiji into a modern and dynamic society.

The SEEP Program will soon be launched in the Northern Division.
