Think about our future generations: Koroilavesau

The Fisheries Ministry says the recent ban it has put in place on live coral, beach-de-mer and certain fish is to ensure they grow back to a sustainable level.
Minister Responsible, Semi Koroilavesau says Fijians need to think about the future generations and support the ban before it’s too late.
Koroilavesau adds the Ministry will enforce harsh penalties for exporters and villagers that are still found breaking these bans.
The ministry recently announced the ban of live coral and aquarium rocks as part of Fiji’s commitment to COP23 last year and its partnership with Sweden on stopping the extraction of live coral from reefs.
