Fifty-five Fijians awarded scholarships by the Australian High Commission

Fifty-five Fijians now have the opportunity to study at various renowned Universities in Australia, after they were successfully awarded scholarships by the Australian High Commission.

Permanent Secretary for Employment, Salaseini Daunabuna who is one of the recipients says education has no limit as people learn everyday.

Daunabuna who is a lawyer by profession will study masters in governance and public policy.

” This gives me an opportunity to up skill myself so that I can contribute more to public policy and in terms of the work of the public sector and civil service in Fiji.”

She says 13 years in government has slowly built her knowledge on public policy and to study in Australia is an added bonus.
