In an effort to better teaching standards in schools, Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation has donated teaching kits to some primary schools around the country.

Foundation Executive – Ambalika Devi says they have provided internet connections to 12 schools in North, 4 in the Central and 3 schools in the Western Division.

We are continuing to support the primary schools and the plans are to distribute 100 web boxes together with the flat screen and other connectors and speakers which are portable and can be taken around in classrooms where can teachers demonstrate things to the students using the internet, there are specific sites which will be provided for free.

Devi says the foundation has other plans in the pipeline which will help provide better education to the students around the country.
