Lomaivuna District, in Naitasiri which is home to more than two hundred people was not spared by TC Winston.

Villager Losana Rokoseka says there are sixty-houses in the village and most of them have been destroyed.

Rokoseka says four teacher’s quarters at Navuakece District School and their church were also damaged.

The teachers in the village are now living with other villagers.

Villagers grow bananas on a large scale for sale; however Rokoseka says the plantation has been destroyed leaving no hope for livelihood.

She says they are waiting for assistance from the government.
