The school teacher allegedly publicly read private text messages of a student.

The student died of self-inflicted burns after the incident in school.

“The information to date that you’ve got from our investigation reveals that the teacher did not conduct herself in anyway which was in breach of our Code of Conduct and therefore the teacher is back at work.”

The incident has also prompted the Ministry to review its policy around Information Communication Technology with public submissions called for.
