The Fiji Taxi Association hasn’t ruled out the option of suspending night services if attacks against drivers continue.

Association President Rishi Ram says the safety of drivers can’t be compromised.

“That will be our last option, we have to be mindful that our members and taxi operators are not being hurt. We concerned about them, because there is no insurance for drivers.”

Ram says the Association wants to speak with the Police Commissioner to find a solution.
