A 54-year-old taxi driver who was found with 4.69 grams of hard drugs, namely methamphetamine, will know of his formal bail application this afternoon.

Peter Fong has been remanded in custody, after Police arrested him on Friday following a raid at his home in Narere on Friday.

The raid was conducted by the Southern Division operations team whereby the accused was found allegedly discarding the white crystals confirmed to be methamphetamine.

The accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

Prosecution will respond to the bail application when Fong reappears in court.
