The Fiji Police Force has set-up three special taskforce teams to look into serious cases of aggravated robberies and theft.
The teams will be headed by the Divisional Crime Officers.
Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations Henry Brown says the public should now call these officers directly if they have any information or issues that can assist investigations.
Brown says they can help curb the occurrences of these crimes.

A series of aggravated robberies, theft and home invasions have been highlighted by the public in recent months.
Police are yet to confirm some specific reports of robberies that were brought to their attention by FBC News.
