The travelling public between the Suva and Lami corridor are advised that traffic will be reduced to a single lane under a managed stop/go arrangement on the Tamavua-i-Wai bridge.

Work will begin from 9pm tonight on the lane closure for Suva bound traffic.

Minor surface repairs will be carried out in conjunction with necessary periodic inspections.

The lane will remain closed till 8am tomorrow.

The Tamavua-i-Wai bridge is a key link to the Suva City and the Port and as such the high level of emphasis is placed to keep the traffic moving with minimal disruption.

Members of the public travelling along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalizing travel plans.
