Tamavua-I-Wai Bridge to be reduced to single lane

Traffic will be reduced to single lane only under a managed stop/go arrangement on the Tamavua-I-Wai Bridge on Queens road tonight.
Fiji Roads Authority say that this is done due to routine inspection and maintenance which will begin at 7pm.
The lane will remain closed until 5.30am tomorrow.
FRA Chief Executive, Jonathan Moore says that they acknowledge that the bridge is a key link to the Suva City and the Port and such the high level of emphasis is placed to keep the traffic moving with minimal disruption.
Moore says that their contractors will work outside of peak hours and will attempt to minimize disruption to the public.
