The recommended hours to play fireworks on Diwali day is from 5pm to 12am and 5pm to 10 pm on all other days.

Finau adds they also have a strict policy on which type of fireworks can be sold to the public. Amongst those is the Roman Candles, which has a temporary import ban.

He says those shops which still have the Roman Candles in stock can sell it but no new stock is allowed to be imported.

Diwali is on November the 11th.
