Accident Compensation Commission chief executive, Parvez Akbar, says Fijians should take advantage of this scheme introduced by the government to benefit from it.

Akbar who assumed the chief executive’s position from January 1st says people who are involved in road accidents can fill the relevant forms at LTA officers for claim purpose.

“If you have been a victim of a motor vehicle accident, please go to the LTA office. You will have the relevant form there to fill in. They will tell you what information you need to provide. Submit that information and we will assist as quickly as possible.”

Akbar says the Commission will assess all information provided in forms thoroughly before a decision on claims will be made.
