Tailevu Provincial Council meeting Chair, ACP Rusiate Tudravu is pleading with villagers in the province to utilize vacant lands for their sustenance.

Tailevu Provincial Council meeting Chair, ACP Rusiate Tudravu is pleading with villagers in the province to utilize vacant lands for their sustenance.

ACP Tudravu highlighted the matter that was a topic of discussion in today’s provincial council meeting at Ucunivanua, Verata.

He adds that the government is offering assistance yet, the land is not being utilized to its full potential.

“And also in regards to agriculture, some of the assistance that are available where there is a lot of land in Tailevu and we would like to utilize that to the full advantage. We would like to seek government officials in regards to how they can assist us in order for us to develop the land which is almost vacant in our area”.

Meanwhile, the Tailevu Council intends to achieve even better success in the New Year as the council meeting wrapped up this afternoon.
