Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama says political parties can take their views to the Constitutional Commission following the Fiji Labour Party’s statement that they do not agree with the constitution consultation process.

Bainimarama says the process is the path that the country will follow towards elections in 2014.

The Fiji Labour Party disagrees with the constitution process following their council meeting on Sunday.

The Prime Minister announced the constitutional consultation process earlier this month.

During the months of May to July, a civic education programme will be conducted to highlight issues for Fijians to think about before they make their voices heard to the Constitutional Commission.

This process will be conducted both in English and in the vernacular languages.
