57 year old Anil Dutt, who was wanted by police over the alleged murder of a woman at a Suva guesthouse last week has been apprehended by police.

Dutt has been admitted in hospital over the weekend and is expected to be questioned by police when released.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri says Dutt had tried to take his own life before Police apprehended him.

Police had to rush him to the Lautoka hospital.

Dutt is alleged to have checked in with the 47 year old woman who was found dead at the guest house last Saturday morning.
