New support devices worth over one million dollars donated by PhsioNet UK put a smile on the face of many disable persons who suffered devastation by Cyclone Winston over five months ago.

Mere Rodan and Peniasi Rawaidranu are two of those benefitted from the equipment

“I’m touched and was a little bit in tears looking at the generous donation by UK PhsioNet because this is going to meet the needs of those affected with TC Winston. It gives us a great joy for them to access in moving around and do what we supposed to do.”

The mobility aid and appliances were handed over to the Spinal Injury Association by in Suva by a British organization – PhsioNet UK.
