“The mitigation has been successful in all these years in the number of cases we have received in all these years. Since we started in 2008 we received about 186 cases especially on the employment grievances but by the end of 2017 the number of cases we received in mediation has gone up to 1400 so these shows that workers are aware of their rights if they are being unfairly dismissed from workplaces they can come in and lodge their complaints with the mediation”

The Ministry presented their submissions on three year annual report this morning.
