Students of Queen Victoria School have been urged to take part in the Electronic Voter Registration process to allow them have a say in the 2014 elections.
Minister for Youth and Sports Commander Viliame Naupoto made the encouragement during the school’s cadet pass out at Albert Park today.
Commander Naupoto told the students that those above the age of 17 will be eligible to vote in 2014 and that it’s their right.
He reminded them that this right gives them the privilege to have a say as to who represents them in the type of parliamentary system that the people of Fiji will decide.
Commander Naupoto has urged those eligible to exercise their rights and register now.
He told them that once they register, they’re helping move Fiji forward and at the same time, living up to the QVS motto of “Floreat Viti” or “Foward Fiji.”
