Three students of a Nausori based school were remanded in custody for allegedly raping a Year 9 student from the same school.

Police Chief of Operation Biu Matavou confirmed the matter was reported at the Nausori Police Station last week.

Two of the students are in Year 12 while the other one is in Year 13.

Matavou says the students appeared in court last week.

He is advising parents and guardians to spend more time with their children
especially when festive season approaches.
