Students questioned for allegedly drinking in dormitory

Five secondary school students were questioned and released on Saturday night for allegedly drinking in the school dormitory.
Korovou Police received a report after midnight that students were allegedly drinking liquor and causing trouble.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says two officers were sent to attend to the report and they found students fighting and in the process, one of the officers’ was allegedly assaulted by two students aged 16 and 17 years.
They were taken in by police, interviewed and then released.
Later the same day, at around 2am another call was received from the school principal saying more students were allegedly drinking homebrew inside one of the boy’s dormitory and causing trouble.
Upon arrival the officers found the two students who were taken in earlier and three others also aged 16 and 17 years drinking.
All five were taken in for interview and released as investigations continue.
