All students at the Amichandra Memorial Primary School in Lautoka will resume classes from today.
The National Fire Authority and Fiji Police Force have completed their preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire that broke out last Saturday.
The Education Ministry in a statement says all areas of the school grounds damaged by the fire have been appropriately fenced off and additional measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
The Ministry says there is adequate space within the undamaged school buildings for students in Years 1, 2 and 3 to attend classes.
No temporary shelters or tents are necessary.
The Ministry has supplied 130 desks and chairs, textbooks, stationaries, milk and weet-bix to replenish items destroyed in the fire.
The Ministry has also made psycho-social counselling services available for any students who are at all distressed by the incident.
The Police and NFA will provide updates on their investigation into the cause of the fire in due course.
