Students of Nasinu Sangam Primary School were educated on the importance of consumer rights and responsibilities.
This as officers from the Consumer Council visited the school to raise awareness on the issue.
The visit was aimed at engaging Year 6 and 7 students to enlighten them on the role of the Council in promoting consumer interests.

The students were informed about consumer issues relating to electronic ticketing, food labeling, the importance of budgeting and the National Consumer Helpline 155.
