A secondary student of Ba has been interviewed by Police officers in the West in relation to a video that surfaced on social media, alledgly showing him desecrating school property.

He is seen in the video wearing a white uniform, cursing, spitting and slapping a statue in a school compound in Ba.

Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Biu Matavou, says they have recorded his statement.

The file is expected to be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions, where charges laid against him will be decided.

ACP Matavou earlier alluded that the incident will not be taken lightly as it’s a serious offense.
