Strong wind warning remains in force

April 2, 2012 6:16 pm

As Tropical Cyclone Daphne continues to move towards the south of Fiji, it is expected to bring more rain during the day.

Duty forecaster Rajneel Prasad says on its current track, Tropical Cyclone Daphne is expected to move south-east further away from the Fiji group.

“On its forecasted track it is expected to move south-eastwards further away from the group. However an associated active trough of low pressure that lies over the western parts of Fiji continues to affect the group bringing in more rain and strong winds for today and tomorrow.”
