July 25, 2017 6:22 pm

Save the Children Fiji is now focusing on strengthening their Child Protection Program in communities and schools.

Chief Executive, Iris Low-McKenzie says sexual violence against children continue to increase and many of these children are being sexually abused by close family members.

“We’re working with the department of social welfare, working in areas where they identify places that need alot of support programs. So one thing we’re doing is rolling out our positive discipline training for parents that is providing them with alternatives towards positive discipline of their children.”
