Street lights will soon be installed on the new Stinson Parade and Vatuwaqa bridges.

This has been confirmed by Fiji Roads Authority.

FRA says they will also install road reflectors.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says both bridges have been built to international standards.

Bainimarama says both bridges meet the high standard of 50 tonnes gross weight capacity and 14 tonnes extra loading.

He says that they have put aside nearly $31 million to replace 16 bridges around the country.
