The Nadi Weather Office has issued a storm wind warning for Ono-I-Lau and Vatoa.

While gale force warning remains for Ogea, Namuka, Kabara, Komo and Moce.

A strong wind warning for Kadavu and nearby smaller island, southern Viti Levu, northern Lau and Lomaiviti group also remains.

Nadi Meteorology director – Ravin Kumar says sever Tropical Cyclone Winstin was located about 570km south of Kadavu and it is moving east northeast at about 24km/hr.

Kumar says the southern Viti Levu, northern Lau, Kadavu and Lomaiviti group can start experiencing occasional showers form this afternoon.
