Stepfather charged with rape of 13-year-old

A 42-year-old man has been remanded in custody, charged with one count of rape.

It’s alleged that the accused raped his 13-year-old stepdaughter in Sigatoka on July 11th this year.

The accused appeared in the Suva High Court today before Justice Daniel Goundar via a video link.

His case has been adjourned for a plea hearing on September 17th.
