The Australian couple who are alleged to have been involved in the unlawful importation of illicit drugs and ammunition in Denarau last month appeared at the Lautoka High Court today.
The Prosecution has today informed the court they will consolidate the charges of John and Yvettee Nikolic by the end of the month.
45-year-old John Nikolic is charged with one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs, one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and one count of failure to declare arms and ammunition to a customs officer.
His wife Yvettee Nikolic also faces similar charges.
The Prosecution also informed the court they will not return the mobile phone and laptop to Yvettee, however, the other items in her backpack can be picked up from the Namaka Police Station.
Officials seized thirteen bricks of Cocaine weighing 15 kilograms as well as
Ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of 20 to 30 million dollars from the yacht.
They also found $30,000 in undeclared currency, guns and ammunition on board.
