Stage set for MSG Leaders Summit

March 28, 2012 5:30 am

Leaders of all Melanesian Spearhead Group countries are in Fiji for the commencement of the MSG Leaders Summit tomorrow.

A 100 men guard of honour will be accorded to the Chief Guest, Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, Gordon Lilo before he will be traditionally welcomed by the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces.

PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neil was to be chief guest at the Leaders Summit but he is represented instead by his Foreign Minister, making it only fitting that Lilo be chief guest as this is his first official visit to Fiji as Prime Minister of Solomon Islands.
